After two years, you will be able to commission and operate manufacturing machines and equipment.

General Duties

  • Setting up manufacturing machines
  • operate, set up, and maintain
  • Resolving machine downtime
  • Maintenance and inspection of machinery and equipment
  • Contact Person for Retrofits and Maintenance
  • Working in a two-shift system

Requirements / What should you bring to the table?

  • Academic
    • Either a good secondary school diploma followed by enrollment in a vocational school specializing in METALWORK
    • or a high school diploma or higher
    • good grades in math and physics
  • Good computer skills (MS Office)
  • Proficient Use of Word Processing Software
  • technical understanding of machines and computers, manual dexterity

Here's How Your Apprenticeship Will Work With Us – Dual Apprenticeship

You’ll support us from the very beginning in a wide variety of departments. Vocational school classes are held on a part-time basis (1–2 days a week). You’ll attend the vocational school in Metzingen. The training program to become a machine and plant operator lasts two years in total. The training takes place at our location in Kohlberg.
